I don’t see my name mentioned in the Santa Barbara Independent article or connected to the first people to come forward and also spend the past 29 years fighting the abuse of children by priests.. In fact I was the first person in Santa Barbara to expose it and actually met with Ray Higgins and others when they first found out about their childrens/young adults abuse.. (they were devastated ) I told them about my actions against the Jesuits and helped them organize and get money…
I wonder why?? ..
I would not take it personally. The article was about the book and the local folks on the panel. It could not go into the entire history of abuse and cover-up in Santa Barbara. And if it is any consolation – I am not mentioned either, even though I set up the book tour. I am not in the book either. Remember, your work is credited and appreciated by those who count – the countless victims whom you have helped with your advocacy, strength and tenacity.
